Why we are called Siliqun Rotor
Last updated: 7 October 2026
A name that guesses
Until 3 October 2026 this product was called Zairja. A zā'irja is a medieval divination table, the one Ibn Khaldun describes: you put a question in, turn the table, and read a prediction out of the letters.
That is the opposite of what we build. Siliqun Rotor exists so that an AI agent does not guess. Before your software acts, it picks the action that fits the request, asks for the detail that is missing, or refuses with the reason. The decision is exact, and you can read why it was made. A name for a guessing machine sat badly on a product whose whole point is not guessing, so we changed it.
The new name
Siliqun Rotor comes from SILIQ, the project the engine grew out of, and the rotor at the centre of how it turns a request into a decision. It is the first product line of MAG, our parent company.
If you see "Zairja" on a receipt
Pro and Team are sold through Paddle, our merchant of record. Until our company is registered under the new name, Paddle's checkout and receipts may still show Zairja as the seller. It is us: the same business, the same plans and prices, the same refund policy. If anything on a charge looks wrong, write to owner@sqrplatform.com and we will settle it with Paddle.
What did not change
Your workspace, your keys, your projects and your plan. The engine and its models are still free under Apache-2.0, including commercial use. Package names moved to siliqun-rotor, and the old zairja names keep working for one release.
